A lot of news has been coming out of Texas recently; An engineer admitted to $10 million worth of Covid relief fraud, A Texas Attorney taking action against Citadel & Robinhood for market manipulation, et cetera.

Furthermore, The CEO of a Texas-based group of hospice and home health entities was sentenced on the 3rd of February to 15 years in prison for falsely telling thousands of patience they had less than six months to live - enrolling them in programs not otherwise available, thus increasing revenue to these companies belonging to big pharma.

Henry McInnis along with his co-conspirator, Rodney Mesquias were both convicted by a federal jury in Brownsville, Texas. They were convicted in November 2019 but weren't sentenced until the 3rd February, 2021.

Between 2009 to 2018 both McInnis and Mesquias along with the help of others, orchestrated a scheme scamming nearly $150 million in false and fraudulent claims regarding hospice and other health care services.
