US Vice Presidents Niece under fire for racist remarks about white people

Vice President Kamala Harris is under fire for a tweet stating that "Violent white men are the greatest terrorist threat to our country", this was made under the presumption that the Boulder gunman was white because "he was taken into custody alive", despite the fact that more white men are killed by police officers a year than black people.

A report by Statista found that white people both armed and unarmed are nearly twice as likely to be killed by law enforcement each year. The claim made by democrats that police officers are more likely to kill a black person in a racially aggravated assault is categorically untrue.

Kamela Harris' niece Meena was then forced to delete these tweets following a mass amount of backlash and the identity of the shooter exposing that he was a Muslim who was also anti-Trump and very much leaned towards the left on the political spectrum. Upon deleting the tweet she released a statement saying,

"I deleted a previous tweet about the suspect in the Boulder shooting. I made an assumption based on his being taken into custody alive and the fact that the majority of mass shootings in the U.S. are carried out by white men."

This is true, white men are more likely to commit a mass shooting, however, it doesn't excuse her behavior. If a white person made a similar remark about a black or Latino person there would be uproar.

As soon as the identity of the gunman was released and people began to realize his religious philosophies and that he was a Muslim it went from being a race issue to a gun issue whereby Democrats have now politicized it in order to pass gun control legislation. How about they start focusing on the victims instead of utilizing it to pass their own personal/political agenda.
