Bidens "detain and release" illegal immigration policy

As Jen Psaki stated recently in a White House press conference; "it is not the right to come", effectively she's been avoiding answering the question on what the Biden administration plans to do in regards to open borders, ultimately avoiding giving a straight answer.

Looking at the executive registry Biden has been not only reversing many of Trumps policies on immigration but also adding new policies which essentially allows for illegal aliens to remain in the United States (such as EO 14012). Like what was happening during the Obama administration, the current administration has been instructing ICE to capture and then release Illegal Immigrants into American society.

Illegal immigration harms the economy in many ways, one predominant example would be that they are considered "cheap labor" by these big corporations thus taking jobs away from American citizens. Joe Biden has already axed thousands of jobs which his cancelation of the Keystone XL permit. He did plan to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour, however, this luckily didn't get passed through the senate. If Biden had succeeded in raising the minimum wage, a CBO estimate claimed roughly 4 million jobs could be lost.

There have also been reports that these illegal aliens aren't being screened for Covid, but these are just reports and aren't hundred per cent substantiated. Whether Jen Psaki classifies this as "open borders", the "detain and release" policy is essentially open borders.
