In an article recently posted on this website we provided evidence suggesting that AOC wasn't even in the Capitol building during the riot. However, it hasn't stopped her from attacking a police officer who "showed up to help her".
US Representative & Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez questioned the motives behind a police office over his behavior during the unfortunate events that unfolded on January 6th 2021.
On Monday February 1st she went live on Instagram to recall the "difficulty and fear she felt during the violent protest". She claimed that a "white man in a black beanie" breached her office whilst yelling "where is she? where is she?". I find this remarkably interesting considering her office isn't even in the Capitol building - which you can find on her official house.gov webpage.
The US Representative said that at that moment "I thought I was going to die. I have never been quieter in my entire life." At that time she claimed that one of her staff members told her that it was safe. When leaving she saw a man that she illustrated as a "White man in a black beanie" - I think that if the roles were reversed and a white person described a potential attacker as a "black person in a black beanie" people like AOC would relentlessly call them racist and attack them - instantly pointing out the extreme double standards. At the same time, she also found out that the man was a Capitol Police officer. She further explained that
"It didn't feel right. Because he was looking at me with a tremendous amount of anger and hostility. Things weren't adding up. There was no partner there. He wasn't yelling 'this is Capitol Police, this is Capitol Police.' And he was looking at me in all of this anger and hostility."
Again if this was said about a black man wearing a black beanie looking at a right wing politician with "anger and hostility" there would be outrage.
In the live Instagram video, AOC questions the motives behind this individual;
"Did he [the officer] not say he was Capitol Police on purpose? Was he trying to actually put us in a vulnerable situation"
Which is disgusting considering in this scenario shes referring to a Police Officer risked his life for her but instead she smeared him for being a possible collaborator.
